Appointments

Appointments are scheduled in advance, though some same-day appointments can be arranged for emergencies. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Should it be necessary for you to miss an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. This allows us to be of service to other patients.  For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, a $15 fee is charged. 

Records and Tests

If your referring physician has ordered tests, including x-rays, CT Scans or MRIs, you will need to bring them along with you at the time of your appointment. Please bring records with you as well.

Payment Policies

We prefer to avoid patient billing because the costs of paperwork and postage affect our fees. Payment is due at the time of each office visit. If you are covered by a Managed Care Plan, you will be expected to pay your co-pay in full. We accept payment in the form of cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. Information about our other services and fees are available upon request to help you plan your visit.

Health Insurance

As a courtesy we will file charges to your insurance carrier. Your insurance contract defines what types of benefits you have as a patient.  We ask that you bring your insurance cards as well as a photo ID with you, so that we may photocopy them for complete and accurate information. Please remember the responsibility of the entire balance is yours. We will also verify benefits and pre-authorize any procedures with your insurance company.

Serving the St. Louis Metropolitan area with two convenient locations, Midwest Head and Neck Surgery is pleased to serve you. 

 We are open Monday through Friday 8:30am – 4:30 pm.

Some evening hour appointments are available one Wednesday per month.

Hospitals and Surgical Facilities 

Though they visit other facilities occasionally, primarily, our doctors are on staff at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Cardinal Glennon, St. Joseph and Missouri Baptist Hospitals.  Our physicians also perform surgeries at Sunset Hills Surgery Center.
